Jamie Greenwood, a former assistant coach with Knox College and Mount Aloysius College, enters his first season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Brown University women’s soccer program in 2017-18 with an emphasis on goalkeeping.
Greenwood holds coaching experience both at the NCAA Division III level and with English clubs. He coached with the Knox men’s and women’s programs during the 2016 season after working with the men’s and women’s teams at Mount Aloysius during the 2014 season. Greenwood has served in various capacities with Millwall Football Club (2006-17) and Chelmsford City Football Club (2006-09).
While at Knox, Greenwood helped the Prairie Fire’s women’s team lead the nation in defense and helped the men’s team pace the conference in defense in 2016. He acted as a youth clinic coach for Millwall FC in London from 2006-17, as a goalkeeping coach with Premier Sports Coaching in Hertfordshire, England in 2015, and as a volunteer coach with Chelmsford City FC in Chelmsford, England from 2006-09.
Greenwood earned a bachelor’s degree from Mount Aloysius in 2015 and a national diploma in Sports and Exercise Science from West Suffolk College in 2009. He holds several licenses, including a UEFA B Football Coaching License, a UEFA B Goalkeeping Coaching License, and an NSCAA Level 2 Goalkeeping License.
